Our technical expertise is expressed in two aspects - hardware compression and hardware encryption. To enhance scalability of server hardware, our cards are designed specifically to offload the CPU cycles during intense compression and encryption processes. These cards will plug directly into server motherboards and provide dedicated compression and encryption, especially for real-time applications.

Ideally suited for real time backup for Disk to Disk, these boards can achieve upto 10 times compression throughput than their software counterparts. Our encryption engines use AES algorithms in ECB mode with either 128 bit or 256 bit keys.

Indra Networks' products are implemented using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology, which provides a number of advantages due to its reconfigurability. For a modest amount of engineering cost, Indra's products can be customized at a hardware level to meet needs of specific customers. Moreover, Indra's engineers are experts at using FPGAs to accelerate software algorithms and this expertise can be applied to a number of different domains.
