Monish Shah


Monish brings over 20 years of experience to Indra. Monish was an Engineer/Scientist at Hewlett Packard in the UNIX workstation group where he worked on several hardware projects involving both high-speed PC board design as well as VLSI design over a period of 13 years. His projects included several 3D graphics accelerators, some multimedia work and a full custom I/O bridge chip for a server. He participated in a joint effort by Intel and HP to define the platform architecture for the Itanium processor family. He was awarded an MS. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and BS. from Texas A & M University. He has seven U.S. patents to his credit.


Dr. Anupam Bhide

Anupam worked as a Senior Consultant to Hewlett Packard Research Labs, Palo Alto, on Oracle RDBMS performance, file system and high availability issues for a new generation machine using a NUMA architecture. Prior to Indra Networks Inc., Anupam lead elite development teams in IBM and Oracle Corp. At Oracle's corporate headquarters in Redwood Shores, under his direction, teams designed some of the key features of Oracle 8, and improved the scalability of Oracle 7. Prior to Oracle, he worked as a research scientist at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, New York where he was a founding member of the DB2/6000 Parallel Edition team. At IBM, he also conceived and built one of the first high availability products in the open systems market - the Highly Available NFS File Server. He has published over 20 papers in various international conferences and won the best paper award at the VLDB'93 database conference. He was a Visiting Professor at University of California-Berkeley, teaching the graduate database systems course. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California-Berkeley, an MS from University of Wisconsin-Madison and BS from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Ken Williams

Ken is Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of Vhayu Technologies. Ken brings over 30 years of experience in technology and software development to Indra's Board.

Ken has founded several companies and has worked for innovative companies such as Intel, General Magic and Taligent.

Prior to founding Vhayu, Ken served as a consultant to New Moon working on compression performance issues and on multiprocessor performance for Liftoff, a product allowing multi-user access to Windows NT applications, even over the Internet. Before joining New Moon, Ken was director of OS software for Gizmo Technology where he evaluated OS performance and hardware/software tradeoff issues on a variety of applications and systems.
